Please read these terms carefully. By using our website or the UsGoldApp service, you agree to them. If you have any questions, please contact us before requesting an account.
01About Us
UsGoldApp and usgoldapp.com are operated by GM Business Growth Hub, registered in England under company number 2443911, VAT registration number 727102071, of Lee House, 90 Great Bridgewater Street, Manchester, M1 5JW ("we", "us", "our").
You can contact us by email at [email protected] or by telephone on 0161 359 3050.
02The App
UsGoldApp is a financial planning and learning application for businesses. It provides tools such as a budget planner, cash flow forecasts, a KPI dashboard and educational content (together, the "Service"), depending on the plan you choose.
The Service is a planning and educational tool. It does not provide regulated investment, pension, insurance, tax or legal advice, and we do not lend money, arrange or broker credit, or hold client money. Please read our Disclaimer.
03Accounts & Access
To use the Service you need an account. You can request one through our website; we will contact you to confirm your details and set up your account. A contract is formed when we confirm your account and your chosen plan in writing (including by email).
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account.
- On the Team plan, you are responsible for the team members you invite and for removing access when it is no longer needed.
04Plans & Prices
- Our plans and their current monthly prices are shown on our pricing section.
- Prices exclude VAT, which is added at the applicable rate.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- We may change our prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change applies to your subscription, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
05Payment
No payments are taken through this website. Once your account is set up, we will send you secure payment details for your plan. If a payment fails, we will let you know and may suspend access to paid features until it is resolved.
06Changing & Cancelling Your Plan
You can upgrade or downgrade your plan by contacting us. Upgrades normally take effect straight away; downgrades take effect from your next billing period.
You can cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you will not be charged again. We do not normally refund partial months, except where required by law.
If you are a consumer (acting for purposes outside your trade, business or profession), you may have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. If you ask us to give you access during that period, you may have to pay for the service provided up to the point you cancel.
07Acceptable Use
You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not attempt to gain unauthorised access, interfere with its operation, reverse-engineer it, use it for any unlawful purpose, or share your access with people outside your plan allowance.
08Your Data
The business and financial data you enter into UsGoldApp remains yours. We use it only to provide and support the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can ask us to export or delete your data when you close your account, subject to any legal obligation to retain certain records.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. Forecasts and calculations depend on that information and on the assumptions you choose.
09Availability & Changes to the Service
We aim to keep the Service available and working well, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may carry out maintenance and may improve or change features over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces the features of your plan, we will tell you in advance and you may cancel.
10Intellectual Property
The app, its design, software, templates, lessons and website content belong to us or our licensors. While your subscription is active, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your own business purposes. Reports you create from your own data may be used freely within your business.
11Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue or business opportunity, and our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the subscription fees you paid in that period. Business decisions you make using the Service remain your responsibility. If you are a consumer, this does not affect your statutory rights.
12Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or close an account if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached, or if payment remains outstanding after we have notified you. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to put things right first.
13Governing Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
